Carlos Trujillo from the Hoteikan Jujitsu System wins Gold and Silver at the Desert Quest Jujitsu Tournament, in Arizona! Carlos Trujillo of the Hoteikan Desert Warriors in Arizona competed in the Desert Quest Jujitsu Tournament on August 16th, 2008. He won 1st place in the Gi division and 2nd place in the No Gi division. Carlos fought 6 matches in all and narrowly missed 1st place in the No Gi division by points. Grandmaster Armstrong visited the Hoteikan Dojo in Brooklyn on the weekend of August 15th and 16th. Shihan Armstrong gave a Jujitsu seminar on Friday night to the adults emphasizing the similarities between Jujitsu and Karate. On Saturday he worked with several young adults as well as the "Li'l Dragons." Here are some pictures from the event.
