News Update:
Hoteikan's students and instructors, along with Shihan Cookie Melendez, put on a martial arts and self-defense demonstration for the Brooklyn women's services fair on June 24th, 2006. Sensei Tom Carrano and the students from the children's class demonstrated forms, kata, self-defense, and board breaking. Sensei Rebecca and her cardio kickboxing demo team lit up the fair with their drills and skills. Sensei Rebecca did an excellent self-defense demonstration with her lightning fast combinations. Shihan Cookie closed the show with a women's self defense lesson and demonstration with who else but Sensei John Reddick.
This was filmed and will be broadcast on by the BCAT cable station. Air time is Tues. July 11th on the BCAT channel. Those who do not have this Brooklyn cable channel will get a chance to see this on DVD as soon as we get a copy.
