Soke Claudio, coach of the West Point Judo team and Co-founder of the Hoteikan System was presented the "Coach K" Teaching Character through Sports Award, for Competitive Club Athletics. The coach recipient is an exceptional leader who exemplifies the Army Values of integrity, respect, selfless service, duty, honor, loyalty, and personal courage. This individual does much more than win games - he earns the respect and trust of athletes and makes a profound impact on their lives both as athletes and officers. This is a great honor and a testament to Sokes teaching, that the Hoteikan System and the Judo Team have been aware of for many years!
