Well, the snow is beginning to melt back East and the weather is warming up nicely in Arizona. I hope the winter wasn’t too harsh on everyone. One thing is certain; you can still work up quite a sweat while training, even in the cold!
The Senior Senseis have been hard at work preparing for this spring’s seminar. This year’s event promises to be even better than last year. We hope to see all of you there at this annual event!
Since our last newsletter we have had several good things happen in the System. Here is a breakdown by location on what’s going on:
Brooklyn Hombu Dojo:
The annual Superkids InnerDojo tournament was held on January 23rd. Congratulations
to those that braved the snow in order to compete!
The Bay Ridge Dojo Tournament was held on February 6th. 9 Hoteikan students
placed at the meet. Well Done!
Sensei Isaac Cruz is back at the Dojo. Welcome Back Isaac!!
Sensei Jay has been putting the finishing touches on his “Jay No Kata” Judo
form. Also Sensei Jay has started a Judo team at the Dojo.
Arizona Desert Warrior Dojo:
Mr. Ken (Kendo) Wong, was promoted to Shodan in February.
Congratulations!!
Hoteikan System Members;
Greetings to all!
